Lomani Island Resort – Adults Only

Lomani Island Resort features a 7-km private beach, and has timber decks with spectacular ocean views. Guests enjoy free use of snorkeling equipment, bicycles, stand up paddle boards, windsurfers and glass bottomed kayaks. Facilities include a fitness centre, restaurant and a 35-metre freshwater swimming pool.

The air-conditioned guest rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and free DVD titles. The en suite bathroom offers free toiletries and a hairdryer.

This adult-only resort (guests under 16 cannot be accommodated) offers cultural lessons such as coconut husking demonstration and basket weaving lessons. The property can help organise island hopping tours, surf trips to Wilkes Break, daily snorkeling trips, weekly dolphin safari tours and handline fishing trips.

The renovated Flame Tree Restaurant & Bar offers an all-day dining option. In-room dining services are also available.

The perfect spot for a quiet & peaceful week of bliss in paradise

Lomani exceeded all of our expectations! The resort grounds were beautiful, pool much bigger than it appeared in photos, the number of guests was perfect (it felt quiet & peaceful without being isolated) activities on offer were fabulous & offered a great variety for our 7 day stay (we got very lucky on the dolphin cruise & played with a pod of dolphins for about 30 mins & saw multiple beautiful reefs), the restaurant had a great menu with fresh & delicious options for breakfast, lunch & dinner and we thought the beach was fantastic. It was a short walk or bike ride up to Plantation or Musket Cove which was much busier but great to visit for a dip in the bay. The bed in our room was giant & soft and the ability to shower in the waiting room after check out was very convenient for the later ferries back to the mainland. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were super friendly.

The spa treatment was absolutely fantastic, the spa itself could do with a little facelift which we received a note about a new spa under construction while we were there so can’t wait to return & visit the new spa on our next trip!

Perfect simplicity

The staff were amazing. The food pretty good. Adults only! Also only having one pool and one restaurant is sooo nice. I personally don’t like having too many options on holiday. It was super relaxing. We had the pool room and it was stunning. Outdoor shower was great. Also the bikes are great to cruise around on.

Phenomenal and serene holidays of 2023

We had a fantastic stay at the end of 2023. Enjoyed our stay very much. It was very relaxing and enjoyed every moment of our stay. White sandy beach, turquoise water, clear sky (most of the time) but the most memorable one is the people. Super friendly and nice people, always carrying smiles on their faces. Being vegetarian, I thought we might have challenges but we were surprised to see the options and the food was yummy and delicious. Adult only makes stay so quiet and enjoyable. It was a busy time of the year but not crowded. The property was well prepared to take care of all their guests. Sunset cocktail was something to look for. Cheery on the top was the NYE celebration with little fireworks to ring 2024. Overall, had a fabulous and memorable stay.

We loved everything about the property, through a couple of improvements (not a deal breaker though). 1) Free internet speed was very slow (0.01-0.02 Mbps). Bit surprised to know that need to pay for high-speed internet despite paying nearly AUD 1000 per night!!! 2) Tap to wash the feet and footwear outside the room after coming back from the beach to the room 3) Little better song choices for NYE celebration

The most calming and relaxing holiday I’ve ever had

Exceptional stay over Christmas. The pictures don’t do the place justice. Quiet, picturesque and peaceful location, and the staff were always super friendly and helpful.

Magical Retreat!

The whole experience was flawless from start to finish. On arrival we were greeted with a fresh coconut and guided to our room. Everything was clean and staff were super friendly. We took part in the snorkeling and dolphin watch activities. Wish we could have stayed longer, we’ll be back!

Wonderful

Staff super friendly and helpful.

Kitchen needs a little more education and info about vegan and vegetarian dietary requirements. They sent a dish with feta cheese and yogurt dressing and said it was vegan!

Poor food, expansive, staff get paid $4/hour but the resort charge $70 for a no fresh beef steak.

The outdoor setup with plunge pool and day bed looking out over the beach was fantastic

Restaurant staff were terrible, very poor service. Expected a lot better for the price we were paying. By far the worst service we’ve experienced at any of the high end Fiji resorts

The view was excellent and the rooms were very spacious. Lots of activities available the reef snorkeling was particularly good.

The facilities are very dated. The bikes are old and rusty and around the swimming pool was dirt and rust. No real bar area and the set up is a little strange. Food and drink is ok/good, but very over priced. The staff are lovely but it takes a very long time for small requests. The gym is tiny and only one cross trainer which can only stay on level one and one running machine which sticks. All in all a nice place but the facilities are due a huge upgrade to justify the high price tag!!

What was the highlight of Lomani Island Resort

We stayed at lomani for 6 nights for our honeymoon. We had a complimentary fruit basket with a bottle of champagne on arrival. All staff were friendly and some even greeted us by first name daily. Cocktails were delicious. The hibiscus suite was spacious and was close to the waterfront, activities hut, bar & pool. We enjoyed the free access to activities daily. Overall, we had a lovely relaxing honeymoon :)

The food was nice, but could do with some more options.

The location was beautiful, peaceful and well maintained. The fact that most activities were included in the price was great so your day could be as active or relaxed as you wanted it to be.

All of the food options were a la carte, which were all very nice, but it would have been good to have a lighter snack/share menu eg pizza or sandwiches when you didn't feel like eating a lot.

We liked it all. Very quiet relaxing resort, staff were great. My hubby unfortunately managed to cut his toe that required medical attention and the staff and management were very concerned, attentive and helped organise doctor to get to him. We went as friends were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary & her 50th birthday, perfect place for celebrating. There were 6 of us in 3 bure and they placed us side by side which was brilliant, they even set a table for 6 just for us in the restaurant.

Staff were fantastic, we received a wonderful welcome and also a musical farewell. The swimming pool was warm, the hammocks were fun and we had the Kava ceremony on our first evening which was fun. The resort was very peaceful and scenic, right on the beach

The deluxe suite was comfortable except that there was an unpleasant smell from the shower drain. The wifi was a bit weak, but our worst gripe was the lack of coffee - the coffee machine in the dining room was broken, for all the 3 days we we’re there.
